Help & example — HUID Master
Update the HUID record while preserving its product, purity, hallmark date, remarks and availability status.
- HUID Number
- Example: HUID26000007. Enter the unique HUID exactly as assigned for the jewellery item.
- Linked Product
- Example: GLD010 - Gold Bangle. Optional. When explicitly selected, its Product Master purity is enforced automatically.
- Purity Standard
- Example: 24K - 99.900%. Without a linked Product, select Purity independently. With a linked Product, the Product Master purity must match.
- Hallmark Date
- Example: 12-Sep-2026. This stores the effective hallmarking date.
- Remarks & Notes
- Example: 24K Gold Bangle - BIS hallmark verification.
- Status
- Active = available for current use. Inactive = retained but not available for normal active use.
Result: the existing HUID record is updated without changing its identity unless you explicitly edit the HUID number.
