Help & example — Edit Category

Update the selected category name, parent, display order or status.

Name and code: Example: Gold Rings / GOLD-RING. The code identifies this category.
Parent: Example: Gold Jewellery. Leave blank for a root category.
Display order: Example: 10 appears before 20 among siblings.
Status: Active or inactive. Changing status does not delete the record.

Update saves your changes. A category cannot be its own parent or belong below its descendant.
